Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your booking, the balance paid four weeks before arrival date. Total payment is required if the reservation is within four weeks of the arrival date. Written cancellation notice of four weeks is required for payment to be credited against a future stay within six months of the booking, otherwise forfeited unless the entire period is rebooked by others. Separate security bond (personal checks accepted) of $200 must be provided before arrival. Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the tenancy agreement conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc. Holiday plans can be affected by influences beyond your control, so it is suggested that you purchase domestic travel insurance through a travel agency. The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions. Payment will be required for any repair or replacement of damaged or lost household effects, fittings or furniture during the period of occupancy. The premises must be maintained and left as found, clean and tidy. If warranted, an excess cleaning fee can be charged. The number of guests must not exceed those stated on this form and their conduct must not be of nuisance or annoyance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers. Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments. No responsibility will be taken for loss or damage to guests' personal property or personal property left on the premises. Smoking is not permitted indoors nor pets allowed, unless stipulated. Fish are not to be cleaned nor oysters opened inside the house. The viewing of premises is advised before booking. Any verbal description is given in good faith and to the best of our ability. We take no responsibility and can offer no refund for alleged misdescription. Linen is to be supplied by the tenant Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing. Special Conditions Supervision of children essential at all times especially outside because of unfenced garden and river frontage.
